My choice for a DC character starting with the letter "H" was slim, as I had already drawn previously Hawk & Dove [link] , Hawkgirl [link] , and Hawk Girl Justice Lords [link] ...and I didn't want to draw Hawkman, so I chose to draw Hellhound instead. His name is Kai, and his 1st appearance was in Catwoman Annual #2. As a member of a secret martial arts group hidden within the mean streets of Gotham City, he honed his abilities to become his sensei's most prized pupil...that is until he tangled with Selina Kyle, and lost. He became enraged at this and vowed his revenge, and in foing so became the mercenary known as Hellhound. His one and only real ambition is the death of Catwoman, by any means necessary.
